A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I’m also a trusted asset for sports and celebrity talent: Anna Faris, Dax Shepard, Monica Padman, George Lopez, Yaya DaCosta, Magic Johnson, Amar’e Stoudemire, Paul George, Henrik Lundqvist, Derek Jeter, and John Cena. You know—to name…drop.

I got my start in advertising by driving a 30-foot flatbed truck to Midtown Manhattan, parking in front of Ogilvy, and setting up shop on the back. Desk, chair, lamp, carpeting, computer, trash bin, dead plant, stale coffee. And a six-foot letter to the CCO. It worked.

(Guess I did a pop-up event before they were even a thing.)

From there I made my way to W+K, working on ESPN and Nike. Then Cliff Freeman on Fox Sports. Merkley on Mercedes. My final agency stop was JWT as an ECD, leading some of the best young creative teams in the business on JetBlue, Domino’s, LL Bean, Stride Gum and Swedish Fish.

Along the way I picked up honors from D&AD, The One Show, Cannes Lions, Clios, The Art Directors Club, and Communication Arts.

But nothing compares to my Space Derby Blue Ribbon from Cub Scouts.

In my spare time I’m pretty crazy about fly fishing, skiing, mountain biking, golf, and home design.

First off, to avoid any confusion, I’m the joyful, no-look-passin’ point guard ON THE RIGHT.

And when I’m not dropping dimes, I’m directing—dialing in great performances, sharp dialogue, and impeccable comedic timing. Strategic thinking and easy collaboration come standard, too, but those felt less exciting to lead with.

My craft runs deep across genres. Comedy is my first love, but I’m right at home painting rich visual stories, navigating emotional beats, working with kids and other wild animals, executing visual effects, and orchestrating multi-million-dollar productions for everything from automobiles to tourism to home improvement.

I also have a sixth sense for creating fresh, unexpected moments—the kind that cut through and stick. I honed that during my time as a writer and creative director at shops like Wieden+Kennedy.

This combination of skills has earned the trust of clients who expect work that grabs attention and gets results. That exchange of trust is how I operate.

My directing career kicked off with an Emmy nomination for Dominos’ very first viral videos. I’ve since gone on to direct campaigns for Toyota, Starburst, Honda, Visit California, Amazon, Subway, Build.com, Hotels.com, CarGurus, Lowe’s, Persil, VW and Golden Corral, to name a few.
